Seven years ago, Industrias Alegre set up a subsidiary in Poland. In Wroclaw (Wroclaw). Because for us, being there for our customers is much more than a declaration of intent. It is a reality that translates into projects and investments. This spirit has taken us to India, Mexico and Romania with investee companies. In Poland, we are even more committed, with our own company, which we are very proud of.
It is 60% lighter than aluminum and has similar mechanical properties. It is non-flammable and has good electromagnetic shielding. It offers excellent production and assembly times at a very competitive price. And it is also mechanically recyclable. Do you think this is a myth? Not at all. It is the new thermoplastic composite that we have been working on developing and that opens the door to the automotive of the future.
6.5 million women are at risk of social exclusion and/or poverty in our country, 27.2% of the total. In the case of men, 24.8% are in this situation (5.7 million). In this context, Industrias Alegre has joined the Women's Week 2024, an initiative of the Adecco Foundation that has united the commitment of about 100 companies around the great challenge of labor inclusion of women who have it more difficult.
Making batteries more efficient is the challenge. The big challenge. The shape of the batteries and their chemical composition, the arrangement in the modules, the cooling... there are many elements that determine whether the final product can offer the required results. The current director of Human Resources at Industrias Alegre took up her position when we were beginning to emerge from the confinement caused by the pandemic. She found a sector that was going through a chain of crises and a society that had discovered new fears and insecurities. Could we reduce the weight of their FLC containers? How much time could they save? And could we reduce their waste production? An auto parts manufacturing company needed to increase its fleet of dedicated containers. But first it wanted to make sure it made the right choice. We did a quantitative analysis on their side and these are the results.
